Woven Rug

Woven Rug is a nonogram logic puzzle game: read the numbers around the grid and weave the hidden rug pattern, cell by cell. The loom is ready in the workshop. Skeins of madder red, indigo and saffron are waiting, but the pattern is hidden: only numbers along the edge of the warp tell you how many threads go on each row and column. Read them… and weave.

Nonograms are also known as picross puzzles, griddlers, hanjie or paint by numbers puzzles: each number is a block of filled cells, in order. By crossing rows and columns you deduce, cell after cell, where the thread goes and where the warp stays bare. When the last cell is placed, the shuttle crosses the loom, the pattern takes on its wool colors and the finished rug, fringes and all, joins the workshop gallery.
